Our Services

Chiropractor

Chiropractic care is often misinterpreted as treatment for only neck and back pain, but it addresses many more things. All joints are filled with nerves that signal various messages such as vibration, temperature, motion, and balance.  Restoring proper joint function ensures all these messages are getting to the brain.

Acupuncture & Dry Needling Services

Acupuncture involves the stimulation of points that increase or decrease the natural energy channels in the body.  Restoring normal electrical flow helps organs and tissue recover and maintain.  DRY NEEDLING is a technique using acupuncture needles to stimulate tissue by reducing spasm, releasing scarring and adhesions, as well as increasing blood flow to injured areas.  Very effective for trigger points, myofacial pain, joint and tendon pain.

Laser Therapy

When investigating specific lasers and the research associated with different types, our clinic director determined that a low level or “cold” laser was much more therapeutic than a “hot” or thermal laser.  True laser stimulation emergizes cells to produce new reparative cells and stimulate nitric oxide.  Nitric oxide increases circulation by dilating vessels resulting in pain relief and healing.

Electro Therapy

Electro Therapy encompasses several different types designed to either reduce pain, swelling, or inflammation by using electrical charges to repel proteins that cause those effects. We have all applications: some scramble or confuse the nerves (TENS device).  To reduce pain-this can often be a portable device that allows patients to decrease pain medications. Other therapies are more for reducing inflammatory proteins, as mentioned, to encourage healing and reduce inflammation. There are other types that contract muscles to aide in rehabilitation of weak injured muscles as well. These procedures are used extensively in our office.

Ultrasound Therapy

Ultrasound Therapy is a high frequency sound wave device that penetrates tissue to approximately ¾ inches penetrating deep tissue like nerves and joints that are normally difficult to reach. It can be continuous or pulsed to minimize swelling, pain, or inflammation. This “High frequency massage” can reduce edema (swelling) by vibrating inflammatory by products away from the area to minimize or loosen existing scarring or adhesions that can cause future injury or relapse. Early treatment (3-5 days after injury reduces this scarring process).

Therapeutic Supplementation

We often recommend specific herbal, homeopathic, and vitamin supplements that aide in your recovery. We have made it a priority in our clinic to continue to be well studied and up to date in the most effective and researched products on the market. Injured tissues need specific nutrients, enzyme, and minerals to facilitate the healing process. We will make those recommendations to speed your recovery.

biopuncture in Utah

Biopuncture

Bio-Puncture is a medical treatment that involves injecting natural substances, like homeopathic medicine, vitamins, minerals, or plant extracts, into specific points on the body to alleviate pain and promote healing. These injections are usually very small and are given just below the skin’s surface, so they are not as deep as traditional shots.

Dry Needling

Dry needling is a specialized technique used by healthcare practitioners, such as chiropractic physicians, physical therapists, family physicians, and acupuncturists, to alleviate pain, promote healing, and improve muscle function. It is an evidence-based procedure that involves the insertion of thin, solid acupuncture needles into specific points of the body, such as trigger points (tight points of muscle), tendons, ligaments, and even joints. While dry needling shares similarities with traditional acupuncture, it differs in its approach by targeting primarily muscle, tendons, ligament tissue, and even connective tissue called fascia.

Ozone Therapy

Ozone therapy is a unique medical treatment gaining popularity that offers numerous potential benefits for enhancing health and well-being. This innovative therapy utilizes ozone, a colorless gas made up of three oxygen atoms, to stimulate the body’s natural healing processes.
Ozone therapy involves the controlled administration of medical-grade ozone gas, which is a naturally occurring gas that can stimulate the body’s self-repair mechanisms.
